The Secret Whisper series is the latest comic created by Fish Wang, director of Gold Fish that won the Golden Horse Award for Best Animated Short in 2019, and his team, Chimney Animation. The comic is a wonderful blend of fantasy, innocence, friendship, science fiction, battle, and adventure. The protagonist is a grade 3 boy named “Secret.” As his name suggests, “Secret” is not an ordinary boy, but a robot with great responsibility—his true identity is the country's super weapon against the invasion of monsters; when he is not fighting, he conceals his identity in a normal elementary school.
Because of his uniqueness, “Secret” is regarded as a weirdo. He has to skip class to fight monsters in order to protect his country, and he is constantly falling behind in school, feeling that he is dumb and useless.
