Set in the year 2060 CE, California has become the independent autonomous region of "New California." The story follows Kit Bounds, a young documentary director, as she explores the events and hidden secrets of this land.
The male protagonist. Rei is the sole surviving clone from the American experimental program known as “RFS.” Later in the story, his true identity is discovered, making him a target as nations around the world attempt to capture him for further experimentation.
The female protagonist. A young documentary filmmaker from New York. Her relationship with her father is strained due to several incidents that occurred before New California became an autonomous region. Determined to uncover the truth behind those events, she sets out for New California to investigate what really happened.
